The Opportunity
At the Secular Underground Network (SUN) we are on a mission to support ACTIVISTS AND FREETHINKERS across the world. This is your chance to contribute and be a part of our journey with your video editing skills. This is a purely volunteer oriented position. If you have the passion and drive to make videos and content that will help fellow ACTIVISTS, be encouraged to join us.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create videos, visuals, designs that will help to disseminate necessary information
- Editing videos in a way that captures the reader’s attention including some animation/special effects
- Review the script and raw material for a video and decide the value and contribution of every scene
- Create materials for web video, digital ads/video.
Required skills
- Interested persons must have experience in using the tools at their disposal in creating astute and quality videos.
- Experience with social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit and YouTube.
- Excellent audio skills – selecting necessary soundtracks and editing.
- Strong understanding of compressing and encoding different video formats.
